Project Isizwe’s internationally acclaimed and innovative TshWi-Fi TV project has done it again! The hyper-local, mobile video production team walked away with a bronze award in the Shared Value category at Saturday night’s 2017 Loeries.
Project Isizwe is proud of the amazing work and the contribution made by TshWi-Fi TV’s Citizen Journalists, who continue to amplify the voices of citizens, particularly in marginalised communities through the hyper-local content they produce in and around Tshwane for the local audiences.
TshWi-Fi TV secured a bronze award in the Shared Value category, alongside other excellent competitors, all with entries showcasing social impact through excellence in brand communication. Silver awards went to Impact BBDO Dubai, Net#work BBDO and Nandos Chickenland, with Golds awarded to DevCom and Safaricom Limited.
The Loeries® – premiere initiative awards in Africa and the Middle East – recognise, reward, inspire and foster creative excellence in the brand communication industry.
TshWi-Fi TV is a hyper-local, video-on-demand, low production cost initiative available for free, unlimited streaming via the TshWi-Fi TV portal. TshWi-Fi TV provides informative, engaging and entertaining short format video content to audiences who would otherwise not have access to content that is actively produced for them, in their communities.
Well done TshWi-Fi TV. Another prestigious award for a Project Isizwe initiative.
